Benefits, Coverage & OHIP
Psychotherapy services provided by private practitioners are not covered by OHIP. However, many extended benefits plans provide coverage for Registered Psychotherapists (RP) or Registered Social Workers (RSW). Please confirm directly with your insurance provider.
If RP or RSW services are covered under your benefits plan, the session fee is payable at the time of the appointment and a receipt will be provided for submission to your insurance provider.
